Try Aequora and see how Latin can improve your critical and analytical thinking, language arts skills, and problem solving! 

Aequora is an outreach program of the Paideia Institute, designed to be an engaging, relevant, and inclusive introductory Latin curriculum. The Aequora curriculum will introduce the basics of Latin vocabulary, grammar, Roman culture, and mythology through interactive activities, hands-on story-telling, and exciting games. Such activities include matching games and puzzles, acting out skits and plays, creating crafts that the Romans used to make, and (safe) relay races. More importantly, Aequora is designed to engage the student's critical and analytical thinking skills, whether through re-enacting a famous ancient battle or a serious discussion about the outdated societal norms enacted by the Romans.

This class is led by Aaron Z as part of our Teens Teach program. 

This class will meet for twelve weeks on Saturdays. Please register for each session you'd like to attend - you do not need to attend each week to participate.
