Author Talk with John Olszewski

True Crime fans, this is the event for you! John Olszewski, author of The Long Dark Walk and Serial Shorts will join us on Wednesday July 17 to read sections from his books and discuss how he started corresponding with and writing about serial killers.

The Long Dark Walk, released in 2019, began the chronicling of his personal research on the world's most famous killers, including mass, serial, and spree killers, as well as professional athletes incarcerated for crimes. His second book, Serial Shorts, released in 2022, is his first collection of seven short stories based on real life serial killers. He is currently working on sequels to both books. Some of the famous killers John has corresponded with are: Robert Bardo, Lawrence Bittaker, Ian Brady, Jerome Brudos, William Heirens, Elmer Henley, Keith Jesperson, Randy Kraft, Henry Lee Lucas, Clifford Olson, Richard Ramirez, Michael Ross, Arthur Shawcross, Pamela Smart, Peter Sutcliffe, Randall Woodfield, and Robert Yates.
