This is an exciting and engaging cancer wellness workshop where kids will both learn about how cancer works and all about staying healthy and making smart lifestyle choices! It features hands-on activities, collaborative arts and crafts, fun games, and lively discussions focused on promoting cancer prevention and overall well-being. Through creative games and challenges, children will discover the importance of a balanced diet, regular exercise, sun safety, and more while also learning how these healthy habits can reduce the risk of illnesses like cancer. Overall, this program aims for kids to be motivated to adopt healthy habits in a fun and supportive environment at a young age. Plus, they'll have the chance to create thoughtful cards to brighten a patient’s day and win cool prizes along the way! This workshop is led by Tanushree N, an SHS student.
