Tuesday, August 57:00—8:00 PMMeeting Room BShrewsbury Public Library609 Main Street, Shrewsbury, MA, 01545

Just like a book club, but for movies!
WATCH THE MOVIE ON YOUR OWN… then come to the club to discuss it. This is just a discussion group; the movie will not be shown at this time.
Did you like it? Did you hate it? Come tell us what you think!
This month's movie:
Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022).
An aging Chinese immigrant is swept up in an insane adventure, in which she alone can save the world by exploring other universes connecting with the lives she could have led.
Best Picture winner at the Academy Awards, along with Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Editing. Also won two Golden Globe Awards, five Critics' Choice Awards (including Best Picture), a BAFTA Award, and a record four SAG Awards.
The Library will have copies on hold. Ask for the “Film Club” movie at the circulation desk. Some movies might also be available on the Library’s free streaming services: Kanopy and Hoopla. Or check your own subscribed streaming service.
If you’ve already seen the movie already, but it’s been a while, do you need a refresh watch?
All are welcome! You don’t have to be a “movie buff” or even “into movies.” Just drop in and chat with us. We plan to meet the first Tuesday of the month (holiday schedule and weather permitting). While some movies may be "kid-friendly," the Film Club itself is not intended for children. There will also be some movies you don't like… come tell us why!
