Shelly Goncalves, a board member of the Fan Association of North America (FANA) and the Fan Circle International (FCI), will give an introductory talk on the history of hand fans. She will bring in nearly 100 hands fans from her collection. Registrants can bring any hand fans they have and Shelly will identify each on the spot and talk a bit about them.
