Kids ages 7-12 with their parents are invited to a presentation sponsored by America's Best Defense on the importance of standing up for yourself in peer pressure situations. I CAN teaches the importance of Independence, Confidence, and Assertiveness, as well as the Necessity of saying "no." ABD black belt students Prisha N and Chi A, along with an ABD sensei, will demonstrate how to safely extract yourself from pressured situations in a school or extracurricular environment using mostly verbal tactics.
