Are you considering recusing a dog or recently rescued one? Come learn about the unique care a rescue dog needs! This is a brief presentation followed by a question and answer period.

Preethi Sivashankar is a Cadette Girl Scout with troop 11087 in Shrewsbury, MA. She is working on earning her Silver Award, the highest Girl Scout award that can be earned by a Cadette. Her project is for new owners of rescue dogs. We know that bringing home a pet is a great responsibility, more so with rescue dogs who might need extra love and attention. She will cover some tips and recommendations for new dog owners; specifically those who have adopted or are looking to adopt rescue dogs. Please join us at the library for one of three presentation sessions, even if you don't have a pet now, but may be thinking about adopting one. Families and friends are welcome too.
