Town of Shrewsbury DEIB presents:
Coming to the Table Forum:
Cultivating a supportive community for diverse student affinity groups and how to foster togetherness amongst differing views.
Come join us as we meet with experts in the field (Efraim Yudewitz and Ridha Alam) to help our students navigate tough conversations in times of war and conflict.
Efraim Yudewitz serves as the Director at Crane Lake Camp in West Stockbridge, MA. CLC is an immersive, overnight camp for Jewish kids to build resiliency, develop life long friendships, connect to their Jewish identity, and affirm their identities.
Ridha Alam restarted the Shrewsbury branch of Students Together Opposing Prejudice (STOP) which is a comprehensive initiative designed to foster inclusivity and combat prejudice among middle school students.
This will be an in-person meeting with the option to join virtually as well. Open to the public. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Especially those with students of grade school age.
Registration for this event has now closed.
