Join the library for a writing workshop! A writing workshop is a place where writers can gather together, share writing, and receive feedback. Writing workshops are facilitated by Gwen Callahan, a resident of Holden who has had previous experience with writing programs at the Worcester Senior Center.   Writers will be exposed to prompts each week with a short time to write in class. There will also be time to share work and then discuss the pieces.    Gwen tells her students that if they want to write, then they will put the effort into writing.  Of course, there is always a beginning, middle, and end, whether that is writing a short story,  or poetry or fiction, historical or prose.  

Please bring a pencil/pen and paper or a journal.
